VISION:
To develop girls into productive citizens to become future leaders in society.
MISSION:
Girl scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place. Girl Scouts recognizes the key role spiritual growth plays in this mission, and that religious instruction should come from families and faith communities. In addition to camps, troop meetings and programs, girls are also encouraged to work with their religious organizations to make a commitment to serve God, and with the help of their families and religious leaders, to complete programs created by their religious organization. Presently, we are recruiting young ladies for the Senior Troop: grades 9th - 10th and Ambassador Troop: grades 11th - 12th. Girls on this level are eligible to participate in activities to earn the gold, silver and bronze Girl Scout Award. Also, scholarships are available for high school graduates. Volunteers are welcome to join the Saint John Baptist Church Girl Scout Program. For more information, please visit the Girl Scout's website at www.gssc-mm.org
